The Why is the Mona Lisa Smiling Site has been re-launched by Oracle and is now part of the ThinkQuest Library at is original ThinkQuest Library address. During the nine month hiatus the guestbook was de-activated and the counter was reset, but we are grateful that the original graphics, artwork and articles were preserved.  Read about Oracle's selection process here. http://users.erols.com/sjfeld/response.htm

Question from the Field  from a Mother to be

CHER0113@aol.com wrote:
Hello,
at what age should DaVinci work be introduced to children.
I beleive at the age of 9.
I was probably eight or nine when I first learned about Leonardo's Mona Lisa, but can not help wonder if I was exposed to Da Vinci's work at an earlier age, how nurturing it would have been for my artistic and creative development. My students created  a Mona Lisa web site to foster intellectual curiousity  for younger audiences. http://library.thinkquest.org/13681/data/millennium/monakids.htm
