David Siqueiros was a Mexican artist.
He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He lived from 1896 through 1974.
He was famous for painting murals with polictical themes. David Siquerios
was put into jail many times because of his political views.
He studied in Europe. He met Diego
Rivera there. They painted murals together in Mexico. David
Siqueiros lived in New York and taught there. He taught Jackson Pollack
the painting technique of "accidental" painting.
