Rufino Tamayo was a Mexican artist.
He was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. He lived from 1899 through 1991. He
was famous for painting brightly colored painting of people, animals and
still-life. His painting showed Mexican folklore, history and landscapes.
His pictures didn't really show Mexican politics.
