Dr. Spock

    Benjamin McLane Spock, a.k.a. Dr. Spock, was a famous pediatrician during the 1940s. His writings about childcare influenced many parents to have a better understanding of how to treat their child with care and respect.

    The most famous book that Dr. Spock wrote was called Baby and Child Care. Baby and Child Care was first published in 1946. Later, the book went through 7 editions, translated into 39 languages and was sold more than 50 million copies. Baby and Child Care is a great guide for parenting. It gives advices on medical problems such as the right treatment toward chicken pox, how to led a healthy life by having a good diet, how to talk to your child about tobacco, alcohol, drug, homosexuality and many other areas in parenting.

    Dr. Spock changed the future for many children by leading their parents to a right direction as his advices would never be forgotten.
