Gummy Candy Band Bracelet
The Livestrong Bracelets that swept America are now sweeping China in... candy?!? That's right. The Chinese Division of the Oriental Candy Co. put out these candies in hope to spread inspirational messages. With words like faith, strength, and hope adorning these candies who wouldn't get the message? These novelty bracelets go for about $5.95 a dozen and can be bought through the Oriental Trading Company.
Gummi Lightning Bugs
Ever miss watching lightning bugs in the summer? Well now you can do one better... you can eat them! The Chinese Division of the Kandy Kastle Company puts this candy set out. With the candy comes a giant tweezer. A LED light is installed on the bottom of the tweezer with a motion sensor, so when you pick the lightning bugs up the LED light shows and gives the insects its distinct irradescent glow.
Marpoles
Ever want a mid-day
pick-me-up? Well Marpoles are the things for you. These Peep-like
candies are filled with a marshmallow inside and a hard-candied
outside. Other than being candy, these treats can also be used for
decoration as well. It is very common in China to wrap one of these
around forks and knives to liven up a place setting. Talk about
multi-tasking!
