The Interview

For our interview, we decided to ask Barbara Berg, the marketing manager of the world famous Madelaine's Chocolate's some questions.

Us: What exactly is your job at Madelaine's Chocolates?
BB: I am the Marketing Manager. I work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop marketing strategies. We determine which markers to target (gourmet shops, department/grocery stores etc.), which products to promote to these markets, and how to promote them. We develop new products and work on trade show booth displays to feature our products to their best advantage.

Us: How did you get your job at Madelaine's Chocolates?
BB: I worked in advertising for about 15 years and then moved to the client side about 4 years ago.

Us: What is your favorite type of Madelaine's Chocolates?
BB: One of our flagship products is the chocolate rose. My personal favorite is the Hazelnut Truffle.

Us: What is your best selling chocolate?
BB: Over the years we have had several best sellers. Recently, one of our best selling products is the Christmas Advent Calendar.
