Abdomen- The abdomen is a part of the monarch butterfly's body that contains the heart, Malpighian tubules, reproductive organs, and most of digestive system.

Antenna- The antenna is a part of the monarch butterfly's body that is part of the monarch's head and is also used for the sense of smelling.

Compound Eye- The monarch butterfly's compound eyes are made up of hexagonal lenses.

Fore Wing- The butterflies fore wings are the upper wings.

Head- The head is a part of the monarch butterfly that contains the brain, two compound eyes, the proboscis, start of the digestive system (which is referred to the pharynx), and the two attached antennas.

Hind Wing- The monarch butterfly's hind wings are the lower wings.

Leg- The monarch butterflies have six legs when they are adults and most of the species' forelegs are very tiny.

Proboscis- The proboscis lets the monarch butterfly drink nectar and other liquids.

Thorax- The thorax is the part of the monarch butterfly's body that is between the head and the abdomen and the legs and wings are also attached.
