Hi! My name is Kristen, and I am the captain of “The Great American Patent Caper”. I go to a public school in Queens, and I love the idea that the computer teacher came up with fifth- graders having web design classes. When I grow up, I would like to be a pediatrician because I love working with children, especially when I became a kindergarten monitor in fourth grade. I try my best during tests in class and I want the best education possible for myself. I think the topic for our website is something that will really help children in the future. My favorite part of creating our site was making the games on Flash. Hi! My name in Manjekar. I am a fifth grader at a public school in Queens. I love science and math. Making this website was really fun, especially when we got to interview Under Secretary Dudas in Virginia. The only problem I had was that I was the only boy in this group. When I grow up I would like to be a chemist or an engineer. By creating this website, I think I would more likely become an engineer. I am Alissa, and I am a fifth grader at a public school in New York. I am 11 years, and I had a great time working on this website. I liked working on the website because we had a chance to go to Washington D.C. to learn more about inventions and patents. When I grow up I want to be a marine biologist. I would love to be a marine biologist because I would like to work with the sea animals. I think that is very interesting to work with different types of sea creatures especially dolphins. My name is Sabrina. I am 10 years old. My teacher is Ms. Wiland. With the help of Mr. Waldman, our Flash games were a success. I had lots of fun making the Flash games. Also the really fun opportunity was going to Washington D.C. to see the USPTO and to meet with Director Dudas. What I didn’t like was that we had to work on this website every day, and we never got a rest from computers. It was still kind of fun. I want to be involved in politics. I would like this because I see how the people in politics are today, so I would like to change it up a bit. I also would like to work with computer science before I go into my politics career. I’ve learned a lot in doing this website. Hi! My name is Nikita, and I go to a public school in Queens. I’m a fifth grader, and I am 10 years old. I had a great time doing this website. Something I liked about it was that we went to Washington D.C. I also like that we made Flash games on our site. Something I didn’t like was that we had to redo a lot of things if we made a mistake. But every time I corrected it, it became better. When I grow up, I would like to be a doctor. I would like to be a doctor because I like helping people. Hi, my name is Mandeep.
