.......Sharks are a meat eating fish and the most feared animal of the sea. They live in every ocean of the world but most live in the warmer seas. TThere are about 370 different kinds of sharks. Some are found in the deepest parts of the ocean and others are found near the top of the water's surface. They are different sizes and have different habits.
....All sharks are meat eaters, mostly eating live fish, including other sharks. The largest shark, known as the whale shark, can grow up to 40 feet (or 12 meters). It can weigh as much as two elephants! The smallest shark is about 6 inches long (or 16 centimeters) and weighs about 1 ounce (28 grams).

More than half of the world's sharks are not dangerous to humans.....White sharks are among the most dangerous. They have attacked humans and even boats. Scientists believe that white sharks sometimes attack humans because they look like seals.
