Welcome to our INSIDE IMMIGRATION website!! We are going to take you on a tour of the world around us and its connection to immigration. We want to share with you how it first began and have you know better understand what immigrants go though when they come to a different place where everything seems to be against them.
As you go over our creation, we hope you see the purpose of this website. We would like for you to understand what’s happening in the present world as it is related to immigration. People should know that immigration is a controversial issue for many countries. In our creation we basically covered many of the general information around immigration. However, we also wrote most of the information ourselves from our own immigrant experiences in order to give our point of view.
Martin Luther King Jr. said “I have a dream” to let everybody know that he wished to end discrimination against Black Americans, as well as for all people of color. In this website, we also have the same dream: we want people to know how immigrants are treated in society. We, as a group of immigrant students, have experienced similar discriminatory situations. So we would like for you to consider the hardships that immigrants face. We are looking for a better life and a better society. Immigrants are part of this society and support should be given not only to help them, but also to make the best of our society, as well as the world, TOGETHER. |
