Antiquity- The quality of being old or ancient
Border- a boundary especially of a country or state
Cays- are small, low-elevation, sandy islands formed on the surface of coral reefs
Construction- The way something was built
Cultural- the characteristic features of everyday life shared by people in a particular place or time
Devastating- to reduce to ruins
Fascinating- extremely interesting or charming
Ferocious- violently unfriendly or aggressive
Formation- The way something was made
Fortress- a place that is strengthened against attack
Function- the particular purpose for which a thing is used for
Glaciers- large body of ice moving slowly down a slope or valley or spreading outward on a land surface
Gorge- a narrow passage, ravine, or steep-walled canyon
Limestone- a rock that is formed chiefly from animal remains is used in building
Magnificent- having impressive beauty
Minarets- a tall slender tower of a mosque with a balcony from which the people are called to prayer
Monument- a building, pillar, stone, or statue honoring a person or event
Mysterious- difficult or impossible to understand
Oasis- a fertile or green spot in a desert; something or some place that provides refreshing relief

Sherpa- a member of a people living on the high southern slopes of the Himalayas who are known for providing support for foreign trekker and mountain climbers
