About Our Team
Our team, consisting of five dedicated members and our coach, worked to fill a niche in the online community. While the world of technology and the internet has been continually evolving and becoming more sophisticated and more heavily interactive, nobody has thoroughly and comprehensively chronicled that development. Read more about the team, the site, and the competition that started it all.
Case Study: Wordpress

Open for business first in 2003, Wordpress differs in many ways from other blogging tools. The other tools discussed are known as 3rd party tools. This means that any blog created through those tools will have a URL that includes the company name. The blog is required to reside on certain servers. Wordpress takes a different approach. It is a standalone program avaliable for download from Wordpress.org that creates blogs, b
ut does not host them, providing the user with the ultimate creative license. Wordpress users provide their own servers. This creates the possibility of a blog residing at a domain name of your choice. To appeal to all audiences, however, Wordpress also started a 3rd party blogging tool at Wordpress.com. Wordpress has currently the most users for a self-hosted blogging site--tens of thousands according to the creators of the product.
