Subscribing to RSS Feeds

RSS (Real Simple Syndication) feeds have become the largest content delivery method on the web today. Most modern websites offer RSS feeds allowing users to “subscribe” to the content. Using an RSS Feed Reader, you can save countless hours of browsing your favorite websites for content because now - the content comes to YOU!

If you are already using a reader such as Google Reader, you know how useful it is. If you aren’t our article Using a Feed Reader (RSS, Atom, etc) will get you up and running quickly!

Digital Media Competition Deadline

NBC Universal Digital Media Competition Deadline is Two Weeks Away!

We’re very excited for another year of great entries. Check out last year’s entries for inspiration. Also, keep an eye out for some very special awards that we’ll be announcing soon.

Before you can set your eye on the prize(s), you must register your teams by Thursday, January 29th. Registration is simple and will guarantee your participation in this innovative competition.

Here’s how to Register:

1. Go to: http://www.tqnyc.org/dmcregistration/ to register.

2. Complete and Submit on-line form.
3. Wait for approval email.

Registering for TQNYC Internet Challenge

Happy New Year!

We hope that 2009 finds you full of energy and enthusiasm. The TQNYC staff has made it our resolution to help our new and veteran coaches be successful through constant news updates, new tutorials and helpful tips.

To start us off, we’d like to walk you through the NEW REGISTRATION system, give you step-by-step help and tips. Oracle now hosts our local New York City competition and we are now using their registration system. There are a few more steps to this process than in previous years. Stick with us, and we’ll get you through:

1.    Go to: http://nyc.thinkquest.org/ to enroll as a coach.

2.    Principal must sign a Legal Agreement online.
3.    Wait for approval email.
This can take up to seven days after signing of Legal Agreement.
4.    Receive email confirming your approval.
5.    Log-in and register your teams.

*If you already have a Think.com account or had teams in past Thinkquest.org National Competitions, YOU ARE ALREADY ENROLLED to be a coach and can skip the enrollment steps, log-in using your account information and begin registering your teams. Please make sure all of your information is up-to-date.
