Strange Diseases

 

    Jumping Frenchmen disorder... jumping Frenchmen disorder is not as funny as it sounds. This disease makes people startled

 by the slightest noise. This disease's origin is in Canada, not France, like you would expect. The name jumping Frenchmen disorder comes from

 Canadian/French lumberjacks in early Canada. This disease is caused by claustrophobia( the fear of tight closed spaces) and lack of sleep and

confined spaces.

 

 

    Walking Corpse Syndrome... Walking Corpse Syndrome is a disease that makes people believe they have died and is a

cocaine/amphetamine the patient might say that they can smell there own rotting flesh and feel worms crawling through their skin. Being "dead' often

gives the patient the notion of being immortal.

   

Blaschko's lines... is a disease in which lines all over a patients body grow sprouting from the spine in a "V" formation and a "S" formation on the

chest, stomach, and sides. It was presented in1901 by German dermatologist. This disease is not contagious, it is inherited. it was presented at the 7th

Congress of German Dermatological Society by Alfred Blaschko.

Alice and wonderland syndrome... is caused by an illusion that makes everything seem smaller than they really are. The man who wrote

 Alice and Wonderland is believed to have this disease (obviously). This disease makes you hallucinate.
