Did you know that spectacled bears are wonderful animals cause they got their name from there pale yellow marking from its face. They look just like glasses. Each pattern of a spectacled bear is different they are excellent climbers They are the only sort-face bear remaining they are the only species in south America And these bears only have 13 pairs of ribs they use their long curved claws to help them dig. They break into insects mound for food. They have longer front legs then back which help them climb trees to get food. Male spectacled bears weight 220 to 340 pounds the height of one is 76 cm.
