Aquamarine

Lucky for you if your birthday is in March you have this beautiful stone as your birthstone. In French Aquamarine means “seawater”. The Romans used to think that if you sculpt a frog with Aquamarine on it, it would serve to make enemies friends. If a sailor was out to sea and had that gem with them it would keep them safe. Found in: Brazil, Kenya, Nigeria and Madagascar. Its hardness is 7.5-8.
