We are part of the subliminal Science Technology Entry Program also known as STEP. Our instructive project is based on alcohol and the affect of it on the liver. From previous knowledge you may already know, how deadly alcohol can be to humans, especially to organs in our bodies such as the kidneys and liver. It is really hard to live the grotesque consequences that alcohol may cause to you or to a loved one. This is why we decided to base our project on alcohol and its effects on the liver. Throughout our website we explicitly explain the liver, alcohol and all of its components. In addition to our research and website we also conducted an experiment. We bought calf liver and exposed it to two different types of alcohols, Brugal and Barcelo. We observed the effects and we recorded our data, as you navigate through our website you will find a link to this extraordinary experiment. One of our main objectives was to demonstrate to the public how much people suffer daily because of alcohol, due to this fact we also took the liberty to interview people whom have lost important people in their lives and also people who lived through the pain of having diseases caused by the misusage of alcohol. Deeply from our heart, we hope to help thousands of people that will see and will hopefully think twice before opening a bottle of wine.
