Dolphins
There are at least 32 species of dolphins. Dolphins are located in freshwater and saltwater around the world. The smallest dolphin, the Tucuxi is less than 4 feet long and lives in the Amazon River in South America. The killer whale is the largest at 30 feet long . The best known of all the dolphins is called a bottled-nosed dolphin, a popular performer in sea aquariums. The scientific classification for the bottled-nosed dolphin is called Tursiops Truncatus. A dolphin is an aquatic mammal. A mammal is an animal that gives birth and feeds its young milk.
