The African American Birthday Calendar
Our web site is about African American history all year long, not just February! We thought of this idea because we feel that not enough people know about African Americans who have done special things or who aren’t mentioned enough in school.
We have created a Birthday Calendar that showcases African Americans who have succeeded and achieved great things, whether they are famous or not. Each month we have a Shout Out, where we’ve written about someone special who was born in that month. It is intended for kids like us. It’s going to help them to do research and reports for school, or they might want to just browse through it and learn facts they don’t know about yet.
