Germany Cultural Facts

After World War II German agriculture was devastated. Nevertheless they have made much progress since, though they are still forced to import a decent amount of their food. Two major foodstuffs produced in Germany are wine and beer. Unfortunately vineyards for the wine are greatly impacted by each year's weather. Vegetables and apples are also grown in many parts of Germany, along with potatoes, sugar beets, and grains. Cattle, pigs, and sheep are also raised by German farmers.
