Before any meat was broght to Mexico, the meat sources were limited to Wild Pigs, Deer, Rabbit, Armadillo and Iguana. Then, The Conquistadores arrived and saw that the land was suitable for Cattle, Pigs, Sheeps and Goats. That's when these life stocks were introduced to the land of Mexico.
