Indian Street Snacks
Streets snacks are a large part of the Indian clatter. In almost any city in India, you can find many street vendors. The vendors sell many things ranging from flavored ice shavings to Bhel Puri. Most of the spicy, more snack like dishes are called Chaat. Here are some example of street snacks: Aloo Bonda Balls of potatoes dipped in in gram flour batter and fried. Pakoda Pakodas can be made using many different main ingredients, such as Paneer (A cheese like substance), cauliflower and any other vegetable. Samosa A triangle shaped dough pastry, stuffed with potato, peas and other ingredients. Aloo Tikki Stuffed potato cakes Pav Bhaji A mix of mashed potato and other vegetables, eaten with butter bread(Pav) Dhokla Fluffy, airy squares of steamed, ground rice lentils. Kachori Deep fried and stuffed balls
