Thai Desserts

Thai desserts can be divided into two types -- liquid or dry. The common ingredients are sticky rice, palm sugar, mung beans, and bananas. Fruits and sugar water are used to make the liquid desserts and dry desserts are mostly custardy or like small cakes.

Sang Ka Ya is a dry coconut custard made from eggs, coconut milk, brown and white sugar, and winter squash.

Glooy Boud Chee is a banana syrup stew -- a liquid dessert.
