Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and is also the second largest.

 diameter: 120,536 km
orbit: 1,429,400,000 km from the sun
 mass:  5.68e26 kg

Saturn is the least densest of all of the other planets which is 0.7.  Hydrogen on Saturn is 75% and it's helium is 25% with other bonds such as water, methane, ammonia and rock. Saturn's interior core is 1200 k and lets more energy out into space as of it when it receives from the sun. The rings around Saturn are innumerable small particles in each orbit which sizes from centimeters to meters. (The rings are 250,000 in diameter.)  When you look through a telescope from Earth to Saturn many of scientist say it is flat in the result of rapid rotation.

The outer ring of Saturn, the F-ring, is a complex structure made up of smaller ring along with knots that are visible. The knots were thought to have been mini moons. Saturn is a jovian planet which the origin of the rings are unknown. Saturn has a magnetic field around it. With a astronomical telescope it is easy to see Saturn at night because it is bright and also the satellites are visible.

Saturn is the root word of the Saturday. The first person to observe Saturn was a scientist named Galileo which took place in 1610. The Earth passes through the plane of Saturn's rings every few years.
