We are students at the Gateway School who have been working to save the Giant River Otter for the past two years. Giant River Otters live in South America and are a very endangered species. The purpose of this website is to spread the word about the Giant River Otter and how you can help this animal.
By exploring our site you can learn about the otter’s physical characteristics, personality, habitat, diet and why the otters are endangered. You can even send questions to real life scientists who are working to save these animals or use the problem-solving forum to suggest your own solutions for saving the otter.
You can also see what our class has accomplished so you can start efforts to save this unique but threatened animal in your school or neighborhood.
