I have read all your criteria, including Aesthetic Considerations, Additional Considerations and the Accessibility questions and feel it can score well.

As a BIG fan of Leonardo da Vinci, I have always coveted your award! I did apply for one some time ago, but did not truly deserve to win at that time. My site has been significantly improved since then. Although there is certainly more to do, I hope I can win it now. All pages now validate to HTML 4.01 or XHTML 1.0 and accessibility is taken very seriously as well. I have won 200+ awards so far.

      7. Newton's Castle

Students can learn about Earth's rotation, optical illusions, logic puzzles, color, and more at this interactive Web site dedicated to the discoveries of Sir Isaac Newton. The site, which also offers thought-provoking questions for teachers or students to use to foster further discussion, was created by the students at John F. Kennedy High School, in the Bronx, in collaboration with kids at England's Thomas Hepburn School.

Though the site content is geared toward middle schoolers and high schoolers, it offers plenty of interesting facts and puzzles for older minds, too. Visit Newton's Castle at the link below.
