Neil Waldman, a Bronx native has written and illustrated more than 40 books for children.

He has painted and designed the covers of 7 Newberry Award Winners including HATCHET and DOGSONG and received the Christopher Award, the Parent's Choice Award, the Jewish Book Award and many more.
