The Real Pirates of
the
Caribbean
"The Curse of the Black Pearl"
Based on the Blockbuster Hit
"During the 17th century, in the Caribbean Sea, there was a pirate named Jack Sparrow. For him the whole sea was his toy; but then misfortune struck Jack. A mutiny aboard his ship left him marooned on a desert island, but he escaped. He stole a ship and ended up in the town Port Royal. Now the leader of the mutiny was in charge. Captain Barbossa commanded the ship, the Black Pearl. Barbossa and his pirates sailed into port and attacked the town of Port Royal. They kidnapped the Governor's daughter, Elizabeth. Will Turner, a blacksmith and friend to Elizabeth, joined forces with Sparrow after he learned of Elizabeth's capture. Together they stole the fastest ship in the British fleet, the HMS Interceptor in a effort to save Elizabeth and reclaim the Black Pearl.
During Elizabeth's time aboard the Black Pearl, she told Barbossa that her name was Elizabeth Turner and she learned of a frightening curse. She learned that the pirates can't die and that the moonlight reveals who the pirates really were. Barbossa also told her that this happened because of a cursed placed upon them when they took the gold of Cortez. Now they have to return all the pieces in order to become human again. He also mentioned that they needed the blood of a Turner.
In the meantime, Jack and Will have formed a crew and are being pursued by Commodore Norrington. Jack manages to shake them and get to the Barbossa's hide out. There, they watch the pirates and wait for the opportune moment. While they were waiting, Barbossa took the last piece of the gold and cut Elizabeth's hand. Then he dropped the piece into the chest that held the rest of the gold. The pirates then realized that it didn't work and they found out that Turner wasn't Elizabeth's last name. They threw her aside and Will saved her. Will and Elizabeth returned to the Interceptor and cast off. Jack had fallen behind. Now the pirates had Jack and he bargained a Turner in exchange for his life. The pirates agreed and then began to pursue the Interceptor. A battle at sea began and the immortal pirates won. Will, in an effort to save the crew-not to mention Elizabeth-, revealed his identity. The pirates took him and made Jack and Elizabeth walk the plank. As for the rest of the crew, they were held in a prison below the deck.
Jack and Elizabeth reached an island and started a huge smoke signal. Commodore Norrington saw this and saved the stranded duo. Then they went after Will. Sparrow warned the soldiers that the pirates couldn't die and that he was going to go into the hideout and get the pirates to come outside. Norrington did the opposite of what Jack said and waited in a row boat for the pirates to come out. In the meantime, Jack went in and told Barbossa that killing Will right now wasn't a good idea, because the HMS Dauntless was waiting outside. Barbossa sent the pirates out to attack the Navy and a huge battle began between them and the guards. Inside the hideout, another battle was raging on, but this time its Jack, Elizabeth, and Will verses the remaining pirates and Barbossa. Barbossa struck Jack with a fatal blow, but Jack didn't die. It turned out that Jack had taken a piece of the cursed gold and had now become the undead. The battle continued and Jack and Barbossa fight ferociously. Then, Jack fired a mortal shot at Barbossa. Barbossa looked around and told Jack that was a waste of a bullet but then Will cut himself and threw in the last piece of the gold. Barbossa died and the pirates, realizing they were vulnerable, surrendered."
