The Control Tower

The view from the control tower tells a story about many airplanes we have studied landing and taking off. |
| After the Navy "pulled out" of Floyd Bennett Field, they took all the control panels, so all thats left is empty wood holding it's place. We were told that they are trying to get replicas of the control panels. |

One could only imagine the view from the control tower in the past, busy with activity. |
| On the other side is a view of the bay, which looks like is must have been similar judging from aerial shots of the past compared with more modern aerial shots. You can take a look on our map page. |
