Diego Rivera was a Mexican artist.  He was born in Guanajuato, Mexico.  He lived from 1886 through 1957.  He was famous for painting murals about Mexican life.  His political beliefs caused him trouble because people believed he was a radical.  He also had problems with the church. 

Diego Rivera's mural are in the National Palace in Mexico City and at the National Agricultural School in Chapingo.
