Mexico's transportation ranges from the modern methods to ancients ones. Highways,  airlines, and railroads connect to the major cities and towns. Some farmers still travel using old methods like carrying goods to market on their backs or on their head, on burros and oxcarts.

Mexico has a good highway system. Many people travel by car. Mexico has many buses that connect to its urban areas.

Mexico city is the important center of international air travel. Monterrey, Acapulco, and Guadalajara, Mericla have large international airports. This country has a large government owned rail network.  There are also more than 30 seaports in Mexico.  The most major ones include the Veracruz, Tampico and Coatzacalos on the Gulf of Mexico, Salina Cruz and Guaymas, on the Pacific coast.
