Social and Culture
The Aztecs had a very complex culture. When Cortes, (a conquistador from Spain,) killed 23 millon of the Aztec population. Because of battles and smallpox which left only 2 millon left, the Culture had died out over time. The Aztecs had originated in present day Arizona and later migrated to Mexico. The religon of the Aztecs had many gods and goddesses. Each god represented an element in life. The Aztecs were advanced people for their time.
