Euthanized - killed to stop suffering
Offspring - a person’s child or an animal’s young

Abundance - a more than plentiful quantity of something

Numerous - many or more of something


Poisonous - containing, producing, and acting as a poison


Urine - a yellowish liquid containing waste products that is excreted by the kidneys and discharged
through the urethra. In birds and reptiles it is semisolid


Jaundice - a medical condition in which there do bile pigments in the blood cause yellowing of the whites of the eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. It is a symptom of liver diseases such as hepatitis and cirrhosis, or of a blocked bile duct, and sometimes occurs temporarily in newborn babies whose livers are slightly immature

Infectious - describes a disease that is capable of being passed from one person to another.


Stray animal- an animal that has wandered away from its home


Abandoned - left alone and without being cared for or supported


Malnourished - poorly fed


Animal hoarding - any means of collecting more than the typical number of pets and neglecting any of the pets


Ear cropping - a form of plastic surgery for dogs that makes their ears appear anyway the owner wants them to look (it is also known as docking)


Dog fighting - when dog owners make there dogs fight for entertainment

Uncontrolled Breeding- when a mother cat or dog has more babies than there supposed to have.

Evacuating- to leave a place with a lot of people and running very quickly.

Violence-to hit or insulting someone in a mean way

Neglect- to ignore someone or pass something down
