Global Warming has affected wildlife all around the world in many ways. Some animal species are predicted to die out or become endangered.  The Earth's temperature is changing very fast and wildlife will not be able to adapt to the changes this fast.  Adapting to these changing temperatures can take wildlife millions of years.  Frogs, Polar Bears, Penguins, Monarch Butterflies, Cold Water Fish, Coral Reefs and Arctic Foxes  are some of the many animals affected by Global Warming.

Some Animals Affected by Global Warming
Frogs

Harlequin Frogs are dying because of Global Warming. A very deadly fungus is growing on them. The atmosphere is heating up and that is making the fungus grow. This fungus makes some frogs lose their legs or grow more legs.
The ice is melting!!

Another animal affected by Global Warming is the Polar Bear. Polar Bears depend on sea ice. But the ice is melting. Scientists blame Global Warming for this. If the sea ice melts, then the Polar Bears will not have a habitat to live in.
Adelie Penguins

The Adeline penguins better known as tuxedoed penguins are in danger because their habitat is getting warmer. Warmer weather causes the amount of algae in the water to decrease which cause the krill shrimp. Krill shrimp are the main food source of the Adeline penguins.

The change in climate has also effected the monarch butterflies. Their migration patterns of Canada and North America have changed lately. Now they have been migrating to Mexico in order to protect themselves from rain and freezing temperatures.
Cold Water Fish

Cold water fish are loosing their habitat as the temperatures rise.  Cold water fish need their water to be a frigid mixture of spring and glacier water.
Coral Reefs

Coral reefs are decreasing in the ocean as the levels of carbon dioxide increases in the water.  Coral reefs play an important role in ocean as they act as a natural protective barrier for the coastal regions.
Arctic Fox

Arctic Foxes are also looking for a new colder home. The increase of temperatures are pushing this thick furry animals to look for cooler places.
