The past years we
have experienced heat waves. Warmer weather is causing the
glaciers to melt around the world. Warmer temperatures also
speeds up the process of evaporation which leads to droughts.
Recently global warming was felt in Louisiana by the Hurricane Katrina.
This happen because warmer weather is melting away the ice glaciers
making more water. More water plus hurricanes equal risen sea levels
which means problems for those who live close to the coast. The
unbalance in weather will have a negative impact in humans, animals and
plants.
Weather and Global Warming
- The earths temperture will rise several degrees
in
the next century.
- An increase in precipitation.
- More intense rainstorsm.
- Drier soils in specific areas.
- Warming will occour faste over land than over
water.
- The warming temperature will raise sea level
because
the melting glaciers and parts of Greenland Ice Sheet.
