     It is important that we follow the food safety guidelines to keep our body healthy.  Not following these guidelines can would cause us to get sick.  Food borne illnesses can be prevented by washing our hands, keeping meat and milk products in the refrigerator and washing fruits and vegetables before eating them.
     Food poisoning is food contaminated by viruses and bacteria. When you eat food that is contaminated you start to feel nauseous and have a stomach ache. You may also vomit a lot and you may even get diarrhea.


Here is a list of foods that need to be handled carefully
in order to avoid illnesses.
