People smoke for many reasons.  One reason people smoke is that they want to fit in or be a part of a group.  They also smoke so they can look cool among friends, classmates or just other people.  People may also smoke to experiment, you know just to try it out, little do they know that it will cause them much harm.  Others decide to smoke because they feel that smoking will make them look older.
Smoking does many things to your inside and outside.  For example smoking can cause wrinkles, give you yellow teeth, and black spots on your hands, and what is worse give you lung cancer.  Your lungs get clogged with the smoke from the cigarette.  Here's the bad part, this makes it harder for smokers to breath, and the older you get the worse it gets.  Many smokers are not aware of what smoking does to them.  Smoking is very harmful! People do not know that they could probably die from smoking.  Secondhand smoke is just as bad as smoking because you still inhale the fumes from the cigarette.  If you quit your breathing gets much better, because your lungs start cleaning up and then everything else gets better.
