Work In Space Station

The space shuttle was not designed to stay in space very long. It could be used to create experiments, catch and launch satellites and fix the International Space Station. The International Space Station stays in space and orbits the Earth. The astronauts in NASA are always checking things, cleaning, and doing the things a homeowner might do to keep the space station running at all times. The astronauts also perform medical experiments on how their bodies are adjusting to no gravity. The astronauts use a robotic arm to grab a satellite in side a payload bay. After the satellite is secured, the astronauts climb on it and install new parts. When they are done, the robotic arm sends the satellite back into space. The astronauts will check the satellite before it is sent into space.  Astronauts also conduct plant experiments to see if plants can help space exploration. They also conduct medical experiments to see how well their body adjusts to no gravity for a long time. They also talk to each other in ways of communication to tell them that something has come up or if the astronauts need help.
