Hunting in Delaware: The types of animals hunted in Delaware are the dove, turtle, quail, rabbit, squirrel, and raccoon. Each of these animals has their own specific dates when they are hunted but the season lasts from September through May. In Delaware if you are a resident the most you will pay on for a license is $12.50. If you are non-resident than the most you have to pay is $35.00. Some of the state regulations in Delaware for hunters are when they have caught a deer they have to code it each one and then it has to be taken to the Division of Fish and Wildlife so that the deer can be examined. The reason the state does this is because they want to see what type information they will get and what they will find out about the deer and its population. When hunting they must wear 400sq inches of orange on themselves |
