Hunting in Florida:

Florida hunting is restricted by what animals may be hunted and which weapons may be used during certain times of the year. Antlerless deer may only be hunted during the winter and fall. Fall turkeys may only be hunted during the winter and fall. Quail and gray squirrels may be hunted during the winter and fall. Bobcat and otter may be hunted in the winter. And spring turkey during the spring. All other animals wild hogs, rabbit skunk, etc may be hunted year round.
Weapons are also seasonally bound to restrictions. Archery is only allowed during the fall. Crossbow may only be used in the fall, as well. Muzzleloading gun and general gun may be used during the winter and fall. Some dates and times may vary depending on zones dividing Florida apart.

NORTHWEST HUNTING ZONE
Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Liberty, Leon, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, Washington and Wakulla.

CENTRAL HUNTING ZONE:
Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Brevard, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Marion, Nassau, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Putnam, Pasco, Polk, Polk, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sarasota, Seminole, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia and Wakulla.

SOUTH HUNTING ZONE:
Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Dade, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Manatee, Monroe, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie and Sarasota.
