Hunting in Louisiana:

In Louisiana hunters have a pledge that they should obey and follow. They should always follow the laws, they should hunt in a safely manner, and should show consideration to the environment.

In this state the types of species hunted are rabbits, deer, quails, and squirrel. Each of these particular animals are hunted at different dates. The hunting season starts on November 19 and ends February 28. To hunt in Louisiana every individual has to have a license. Everyone who was born after September 1, 1969 must have finished a course called Hunter safety.

Young people in Louisiana are allowed without a license and should be accompanied by an adult who has a valid license and someone who is 18 years older. Though there is an exception, because those who are hunting deer have to have a license. When hunting, it is vital that you wear Hunter orange at least 400sq inches on yourself.
