Hunting in Maine:

Possessing a caribou is illegal in the state of Maine and may lead to fines up to 10,000 dollars. Each animal has an off season, as well as seasons in which they may be hunted. Use of light or motorized vehicle to assist during a hunt is illegal. The only time a motorized vehicle is allowed, is when a person is handicapped and is immobile otherwise. It is illegal to hunt on Sunday in the state of Maine. The killing of domestic birds accidentally, or purposely is illegal. You cannot hunt too close to homes or a school, doing so is unlawful. And littering while on a hunt is unlawful.
