Hunting in Massachusetts:

Hunting in Massachusetts is restricted by hunting seasons and weapons that can be used to hunt. Poison and explosives are prohibited during fishing, and fishing with two hooks is also prohibited. The sale of fishes that are caught is also illegal, unless said person has a permit to do so. Permits to hunt animals are required, and no person is allowed to carry weapons into the wild and woodlands, when it is not hunting season. All accidental kills of animals in Massachusetts must be reported. There are limits to how many animals you can kill during hunting season. Some animals like the jackrabbit may only be hunted in certain zones and in certain zones, only certain animals are allowed to be hunted with certain weapons. Prohibited methods or items that can be used during a hunt are various different traps, decoys, using bait and hunting on Sunday. During a hunt you may not take nests, destroy animal homes, or vandalize. All licenses are issued by city and town clerks.
