Huniting in Nevada:

Hunting seasons in Nevada are different for the different animals in the state, Most of which take place during the winter and fall. Mountain lion are hunted from Mar. 1 to Feb. 28. Desert bighorn sheep are hunted between Nov.12 to Dec. 12. Hunting elk with a rifle is allowed from Sept. 24-30 and Nov. 12-27. Antelope are to be hunted from Aug. 22 until Sept. 5. Mule deer are hunted from Oct. 8-30 with rifles, Aug. 13 to Sept. 1 with bows and arrows, and Sept. 17 to Oct. 2 with muzzleloaders. Tags must be purchased to be able to hunt these animals. Each tag’s price differs, depending on which animal.
