Hunting in New Hampshire: Animals hunted in New Hampshire include turkey, black bear, pheasants, moose, and deer. Hunting seasons dates are not divided into zones or sections, all the dates are universal, across the state of New Hampshire. Black bears may be hunted from Sept. 1 - November. Pheasants may be hunted from Oct. 1- Dec. 31. Moose may be hunted only from Oct. 21 until Oct. 29. Deer may be hunted from Sept. 15 - Dec. 15. There are two types of turkey. Youth turkeys from April 29th to April 30th, and the wild turkey may be hunted from May 3rd to May 31st. Many other animals, the small game animals are also hunted in New Hampshire, these animal include squirrels, foxes and coyote. |
