Hunting in Rhode Island:

Selling animal parts, fur, or skin is illegal in the state of Rhode Island. In accordance to this, hunting for the purpose of selling an animal’s skin is strictly forbidden. Otters, are also protected by state law to not be hunted at any time. They may not be shot, trapped, or taken under any conditions. It is illegal to shoot, trap, and take wild birds or nests, when they are within a state or public park. Rhode Island encourages hunters and people alike to keep Rhode Island as natural as you entered it. To keep its’ wildlife in healthy, stable conditions.
