Many weapons for hunting are prohibited in the state of Tennessee. Certain sizes of bullets are not allowed to be used on certain animals. Also arrows that are chemically altered, or poisoned cannot be used during a hunt. Arrows that have been equipped with a locator, or light, to detect where an animal in the night is also banned. Automatic rifles are prohibited. Killing an animal less than 100 yards from a home, or dwelling is illegal. Using an electric device to locate certain animals is prohibited. And chasing an animal into a public road, or on a motorized vehicle, is not allowed during a hunt in Tennessee.
