| Anatomy-A
body part that helps the animal adapt to the environment. Bioluminescent-A light up organ in an animal like an anglerfish, firefly, and flashlight fish. Brachiopods-Ancient animals that lived at the same time of tubeworms. Cruises-To sail from place to place. Ecosystem-A system that deals with relationships with living things; relationships to their environment and other animals. Fossils-Bones of dead creatures that roam the earth millions of years ago. Indicates-Sign of show. Invertebrate-An animal that doesn’t have a backbone or spine. Molecular-A really small substance. Plankton- A small creature that can only be seen by a microscope. Rapid-Quick movement or action. Secrete-To generate and separate (a substance) from cells or bodily fluids Trenches- A big deep hole in the earth, underwater, caused by an old underwater earthquake. |
