Coral Reef Plants
The coral reef has many different types of plants. The main types of plants in the coral reef are seagrass,algae, and zooaxenthella. There are different types of sea grass such as turtle grass, shoal grass, and manatee grass.
Turtle grass is common in shallow sandy areas. They are green and are found in the sea or off shore.  Sea grass is a plant that comes in different colors.  They have roots and are the only flowering plants in the sea.

Algae also grows in the coral reef but some of them are harmful to the coral reef.  Too much algae , which is caused by polluted water, smothers the coral.
