Lego Robotics is a fun, educational, creative and collaborate activity that is used to test students' construction, programming, and design skills. Lego robotics is used for many different purposes. It teaches students the basic concepts of engineering and technology skills. Additionally, it is a fun and educational activity that can prepare students for engineering and technological careers. Lego Robotics teaches students mathematical principles, cooperation, the scientific method, logic of programming, creativity, problem solving and engineering design process. Basically, students will use Lego pieces and build around the RCX, the "brain" of the robot. When finished building the robot, they will go into the programming process. They will use the program, Robolab to construct a program that will enable their robot to perform numerous tasks. There a variety of tasks people can perform in Lego Robotics. They can program, build, and create designs. Additionally, they can participate in small competitions that can build on their knowledge of Lego Robotics.
